Standard Specification for the Viking 295

CABIN
The interior of the Viking 295 offers accommodation for six with a minimum headroom of over 6' The cabin is laid out in an airy open plan design with a large circular seating area forward and a 'U' shape dinette to port, both convert to double berths. This layout makes the 295 a superb craft for family overnighting or longer time aboard. Aft and to port is the galley with storage beneath the worktops. The hob is a fitted with a flush fitting fold down glass cover. Opposite the galley the toilet room is found with a cassette flush toilet, shower and vanity unit. Aft again and beneath the cockpit floor a generous double berth being 7' in length with an opening window to the cockpit and a port light  to the exterior. Aft again a large storage locker for tender or other useful items.

COCKPIT
The cockpit features the helm to port with steering via a cable to the outboard, single lever engine controls and ancillary switches. A double helm seat with storage below is to port with further seating area aft in a U shape design giving space for a further six in comfort. The central aft seating is removable and this gives access to an opening transom door allowing easy boarding to the bathing platform and access ashore to port and starboard.

EXTERIOR
The Viking 295 is fully hand moulded featuring a gel coat exterior strengthened by chopped strand matt. All exterior fittings are in stainless steel and the boat has side decks of approximately 10" in width, sturdy handrails are located on the cabin top and the bow is surrounded by a stainless steel pulpit. The cockpit screens are four section fixed which are fold able for navigation beneath the lowest of bridges. The cabin side windows are of a one piece section giving the maximum amount of light into the cabin.

OPTIONS
The Viking 295 is made to Hi Line Plus specification only and above this includes oven and grill, hot and cold water, shower and sink, refrigerator, cassette flush toilet and antifouling.
